Chandra Tara Asta, Retrogression with Surya - 2018
Chandra Tara Asta, Retrogression with Surya – 2018
‘Chandra’ (Earth’s moon) is perhaps the most beautiful object-vision in the night sky. Chandra is the closest celestial body to the Earth (~3.8 lac kms). Chandra is considered to have one of the most influential effects on Earth and on its living beings from the space, also reflected in the thousands of years old, ancient Vedic Astrology. Chandra’s effect can be both benefic and malefic. Chandra, when around full moon, super-moon, moon’s orbit around Earth etc status, the sea-shores and ocean’s tides-waves rise comparatively higher and often turn erratic. Chandra has different effects on human behavior-tendencies as well and on other aspects of life like prediction, depending on native’s Rashi (the 12 sun signs), positioning of the moon etc in his/her Janam Kundali (Natal/ Birth chart), degree, conjunction of planets etc. Human body is ~60-70% liquid.
NASA has a space exploration project called Chandra X-Ray Observatory (Earth satellite, telescope) CXO, after the name ‘Chandra’. It was launched in 1999. Many Hindu parents name their child Chandra. Some famous personalities with name Chandra are like, Mr. Subhash Chandra Bose, Mr. Chandra Shekhar (ex India Prime Minister), Ms. Chandra Wilson (Actress) and so forth.
Chandra (moon) spends about 2.5 days in each of the 12 Rashi (zodiac signs) near every month. Therefore, it takes ~28 days to travel through all of the 12 Rashi. It helps in some basic predictions, behavioral characteristics, aspects related to education, wealth, mother-child etc.
Chandra has both good and bad effects (as mentioned above, vis-à-vis, benefic-malefic).
‘Tara’ (Hindi/Sanskrit word) literally means star. Star here, in reference to Tara (moon) does not literally mean the star status.
‘Asta’ (Sanskrit word) means astatic or having negative or no effect or reduced result, like dead-bare minimum magnetic pull, or least produce.
The angular difference-separation from the Sun is at 12 degrees at this stage-time.
